Nanostructures have been at the heart of nanoscience and nanotechnology. They play an important role and make significant contributions to the big challenges of energy, environment, health and sustainability.
After organizing three successful conferences in 2006, 2008 and 2010, the 4th International Conference on Nanostructures (ICNS4), will be held from 12 to 14 March 2012. The conference is organized jointly by the Institute for Nanoscience and Nanotechnolgy in the main campus of Sharif University of Technology in Tehran and its International Campus in kish Island, Iran.
The conference is organized in collaboration with International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP) and Academic Sciences for Developing World (TWAS). It brings a great opportunity for professionals within the academic, research and industrial communities to exchange and share their experiences as well as the latest scientific findings and technology development. We will also invite leading researchers to present the latest research results covering various aspects and properties of nanostructures in different fields.
Kish Island is located in the south of Iran in the Persian Gulf. Kish is peaceful, with unique attractions. It is a free zone requiring no entry visa for staying up to 14 days.
The scientific program will feature plenary and invited presentation, contributed oral and poster presentations. The conference organizers will also plan colorful social programs that participants from abroad will be able to experience traditional Iranian culture.
