The international symposium aims to provide a forum for discussing innovative research and development in the research field of Electronic/Optic Functional Molecules and their applications, including organic photovoltaics, organic field-effect transistors, organic light-emitting diodes, chemosensors and their bio-applications, and so on. One objective of the international symposium is to highlight key areas and directions in this interdisciplinary field as well as stimulate further research activities. The other objective is to honor Prof. Klaus Müllen, one of the pioneers of the field of organic electronics and optic materials, on the occasion of his 65th birthday (Jan. 2012). We hope that the symposium can give you an opportunity to meet your friends and colleagues, meanwhile provide a forum for further interdisciplinary research discussion and international cooperation.
